Three Stages of Graduation on Earth Right Now

 An Earthly life is a fascinating school for the soul, and never more so than in times of crisis.

Like an end-of-year exam, there is always a test which we must pass to graduate. Or like a great movie, there is always a climax scene in which the hero or heroine must draw on all of their skill, knowledge and training in order to overcome some kind of problem, obstacle or enemy.

So what are we learning together on this planet right now? We do, indeed, have a collective lesson that we are learning together. My phrase for this is: “learning to love ourselves and our planet, and to act in accordance with this”. To me, this means: loving without division between race, religion, nation or any other difference; loving not only the people you vibe with, but also those whom you do not; loving without imposing your will or dominating others; loving yourself as a sacred, divine creation that you are; loving the Earth and all beings and treat All with reverence.  

As well as this overall collective lesson, we each have unique personal lessons arising from the current crisis on Earth. There are as many personal lessons as there are people, but I have noticed that these lessons can be roughly grouped into three categories; that which I call “stages of graduation”. A bit like school years, each person is learning at exactly the right “level” for them, so there is absolutely no judgment about which stage you are at – it’s perfect for you.  

First Stage: Spiritual Childhood

There are many people on this planet who are well accomplished and mature by material standards, perhaps flourishing in their careers or other spheres of influence, yet they are subconsciously following the programs, scripts and dictates provided by perceived authorities.

These authorities may be institutions such as governments, education systems, economic systems and medical systems. Authorities may be religions or dogmatic spiritual programs. They may also be the mainstream media and entertainment industry, which are designed to program and influence humanity.  All of these perceived authorities essentially tell the First Stagers what to think and what to believe. The First Stagers do not question these authorities until they are ready to graduate. They do not know that there is anything else beyond their everyday perception, and they may even ridicule or dismiss people who share stories otherwise.  

I call this “spiritual childhood” because even though the people may be adults (even elderly), they are not yet able to control their own minds and truly think for themselves, nor to tune into their own hearts and follow this inner guidance. True spirituality is to know that all the answers lie within, as the whole universe lies within.

The Test of the First Stagers

For the First Stagers to graduate, they must question what they have been told. This sounds simple but is actually a BIG step when you think about it. Imagine a child in school who gets to the end of the year and says to the teacher, “I’m not sure about this information you’ve given me. It doesn’t add up. Life shouldn’t be like this.”

Actually, many children DO question how life operates and sometimes act more spiritually mature than their adult caregivers in this regard!

And most adults will admit that they have heard a little voice inside whispering, “The way we do things on Earth is downright weird. It doesn’t feel right. There are so many injustices and harm done. Why is that? Are humans really so bad or is there something else going on? Why do I have to work at a job I don’t like to pay off a mortgage? Why do we have to destroy the Earth just to survive?” Etc. You get the gist.  

These questions are all important. They are the REAL learning. When a First Stager graduates, they will gladly toss everything they have learnt in the bin, knowing that from a divine perspective, the curriculum was designed only to test if they would question it! What a cosmic joke. The Universe has a sense of humour, indeed!

Second Stage: Spiritual Adulthood

The Second Stagers are unravelling all the beliefs taught to them in the first stage (another cosmic joke ☺), and creating new beliefs which better support their needs and desires.

Second Stagers engage in a long process of sorting out the “fact from the fiction” in their own minds. Compared to First Stagers, it is like learning without any curriculum or classroom. Each person must learn and sculpt the truth for themselves. Of course, there are incredible communities of knowledge and teachers for a person to draw from, but the knowledge is gathered eclectically according to the person’s interests and intuitions.

Second Stagers may be engaged in truth-sorting within their own lives, such as deprogramming themselves from toxic family indoctrination, calling out abusive behaviour within their relationships, leaving jobs they don’t like, re-inventing their identities and expressing themselves artistically. They will also invariably be truth-sorting on behalf of humanity, researching and exposing corruption, lies and abuses that are happening on the world stage, and dismantling the systems which prop up and protect the so-called authorities.     

“Free-thinking” is a word that describes Second Stagers aptly. As they learn to master their own minds, they come into a “spiritual adulthood”, as they are now a unique, individual and sovereign being that cannot be told what to do, and act in accordance with their own moral judgment.

The Test of the Second Stagers

It sounds rosy to be a free-thinker, but it comes with many challenges, especially emotional ones. Second Stagers often face ridicule from broader society (most of whom are still in the first stage). They may feel outrage at the corruption, deception and abuses that have happened on our planet. They may fall into despair, wondering what can ever be done about this? And they may feel intense frustration at the First Stagers, whom they describe as being “asleep” and see as holding back humanity from evolution.

All these emotions must be integrated and alchemised. To integrate an emotion, you cannot blame others for it. You have to accept responsibility for the emotion within you, and know that your outer reality is a reflection of your inner reality. Then you have to transmute that emotion into something positive and beneficial for you and others. Thus, while the work of the Second Stage involves endless research, activism and learning in the outer, material world, the final test is not about how much knowledge you have gained, it is about how emotionally balanced and masterful you are.

Second Stagers are the warriors of light; their test is to fight their battles (inner and outer) whilst maintaining their integrity, values and allegiance to the light.

Third Stage: Spiritual Elderdom

Third Stagers are our “spiritual elders”, although they may not be old in age! Sometimes very young people are able to access the deep wisdom of this stage and live their lives aligned to it.

The Third Stagers’ work is all about activating the Higher Mind and the Higher Heart, which is to connect our individual minds and hearts to that of the collective mind and heart of humanity, and then beyond to the mind and heart of the Universe and Divine Consciousness.

People in the First and Second Stage sometimes struggle to believe the experiences of those in the Third Stage because they sound outlandish, mystical or fantastical.  When a person is operating from the level of the Higher Mind and Heart, they know (in a visceral, felt way) that we are all connected and that all is One. It is as real as the experience of biting into an apple and tasting “apple”.  Third Stagers are learning to work with the very fabric of the universe; being able to access higher dimensions of reality, they can experience such things as telepathy, clairvoyance, instant manifestation, remote healing, and astral travelling, to name a few. They will invariably connect to their soul and star families beyond the Earth plane and receive guidance and help in a conscious way.

Third Stagers are quantum thinkers—they know themselves to be multidimensional and they can connect with their past or future selves, as well as the greater Akashic record of knowledge within this universe. Their curriculum, brought to them in perfect timing by Spirit, teaches them about manifestation and timelines, and brings to them immunity from any malevolent forces in the matrix of reality.  

Third Stagers are also aware of their spiritual purpose for being on Earth. They know that they didn’t just arrive on Earth randomly— they chose to do this before they were born, and they have come here in service to cultivate light, truth, wisdom, freedom, love and power within the collective consciousness of humanity and the Earth.

The Test of the Third Stagers

The Third Stagers are being asked to rise to the level of Christ consciousness, even in the face of tremendous darkness. Where they may be tempted to judge or be angry, they are being asked to be steadfast in their state of compassion, forgiveness and faith. They are being asked to witness suffering and pain, and to practice the law of allowance, helping only where they can but otherwise letting others choose their paths from their own free will. Most of all they are being asked to have complete trust in their inner knowing, and to stay present and calm as storms may rage about them.

From this state of Christ consciousness, Third Stagers are then endowed with the power to visualise, intend and manifest the New Earth that is being born from our shared consciousness, a world of light and love which we all desire in our hearts.

The spiralling of the stages

While I have just described a linear process, nothing is truly linear!  You may have read about these stages and recognised yourself in all of them. That is because we are truly multi-dimensional beings and linear time is only an illusion. Life is experienced not as a straight line, but rather in the geometry of the sacred spiral, so you may be working on multiple aspects in the First, Second and Third stages, and repeating and refining lessons again and again. Just for fun, the Universe likes to sometimes throw us back into a previous stage, just to test what we have learned! So for instance, you can be a highly evolved Spiritual Elder and still have an experience where you fall victim to perceived authority, or you lose your balance emotionally.

Ultimately, my delineations are but crude attempts to convey the infinitely complex and awe-inspiring reality that swirls around us and inside us. As we expand more and more in consciousness, the truth ever reveals itself. We know what truth feels like. We recognise it as a “home frequency”, reminding us to trust our Earthly experiences and lessons as being part of the path that leads somewhere utterly magical and totally worthwhile….
